Processing: A programming language for visual artists

For graphic designers, a great way to explore the world of programming is to use Processing. "Since 2001, Processing has promoted software literacy within the visual arts and visual literacy within technology. There are tens of thousands of students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists who use Processing for learning and prototyping." (Processing.org, n.d.). There are many free online tutorials, but the best way to start programming is by visiting the official site.

Using Processing, I created these starts, a combination of colors and mathematics. I titled "American Stars." The second image "Horse" explores the manipulation of jpg images.
